At the same university, she completed the Master’s programme in Spatial, Transport & Environmental Economics, as well as the Master’s in Economics: Public Policy. During her bachelor’s degree, Hannah specialised in micro- and macroeconomics. In her first master’s programme, she deepened her knowledge of spatial economics, transport models and environmental economics. Her first master’s thesis examined the effect of cultural differences on international trade in services between countries. Within her second master’s programme, she specialised in (macro-)economic policy in the Netherlands and the European Union. Her second master’s thesis investigated the economic effects of extended parental leave for men and women in the Netherlands. Throughout her studies, Hannah developed a strong analytical and quantitative foundation for analysing economic issues and policy.
