Price level study on Saba

Amsterdam Bureau for Economics was on Saba from October 27 to 31 for a study into the price level on island. The aim of the research is to gain insight into the causes of the high price level and to identify solutions. To this end, the researchers spoke with parties from the government and business community. After the visit to Saba, additional research took place on Sint Maarten.

The research is being conducted for the Public Entity Saba and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and will result in measures to control prices. The research will be completed at the end of 2024, after which it will be published.
