Adrienne Maduro has been an analyst at Economic Bureau Amsterdam since October 2024. Adrienne is currently pursuing a master’s degree in European Competition Law and Regulation at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). She has experience with competition policy enforcement in the Caribbean, having worked at the Aruba Fair Trade Authority (AFTA) last summer.
Before starting her master’s, Adrienne earned a bachelor’s degree in European Law from Maastricht University, with a minor in Business Law. Her thesis, titled “The Return of the EU Sustainability Agreement: Balancing competition and collusion in the name of environmental protection,” examined the extent to which sustainability agreement exemptions stretch the boundaries of EU competition law.
